Leveling alchemist in Dofus Unity: tiers, areas and automation
Alchemist is the most spread-out harvesting profession in Dofus Unity: 13 plants across 1,831 maps and 3,009 spots, barely more than one plant per map. Nettle alone grows on 483 maps. It is the walking profession — the one where the sequence matters more than the spot.
This page gives the real tiers, the areas where each plant is truly dense, what our alchemist bot sessions measured, and what automation changes.

The profession in brief
What the data says about alchemist, and what guides copied from Dofus Retro still tell.
Up to level 200, a plant every twenty levels
Nettle at level 1, sage at 20, clover at 40, then a plant every twenty levels up to mandrake at 180 — and three at level 200: snowdrop, salikrone and paper tulip.
No tool to equip
You gather by clicking the plant, with nothing equipped. Harvesting tools disappeared from the game with the professions rework and never came back.
The most spread-out profession in the game
1.6 spots per map on average, against nine for farmer: plants are everywhere, and nowhere in numbers. Travel between maps is most of a session.
The 13 plants and their tier
Maps and spots come from EZGather's map reference data; prices are the average prices of one of the game's servers, recorded on September 10, 2026 and refreshed daily. They vary from one server to another: read them as a ballpark.

| 200 | Tulipe en papierrarest | 17 | 19 | 1.12 | 1,909 |
Nettle and sage make 71% of what our sessions gather — and each grows on over 460 maps. At the other end, paper tulip is worth nearly 1,900 kamas a unit, across 19 spots in the Paper Kingdom.
Where to gather each plant
For each resource, the densest sub-area among those with at least five maps. The second-to-last column is the one that matters: how many harvests you make before changing screen. The last one is the in-game command to the nearest zaap; one click copies it.

Bouftou Corner, again, for clover
Over three and a half spots per map across nine maps — the profession's best density, next to the Amakna zaap. Amakna Forest does the same for sage, at 2.4 per map.
Amakna covers tiers 1 to 100
Amakna Forest, Bouftou Corner, the Cemetery, the Crackler Mountain: sage, clover, orchid and edelweiss in a single region. With Cawwot Island for mint, one sequence covers half the profession.
Past level 120, one island per plant
Pandala for pandouille seed, Grobe for ginseng, Valonia for belladonna, Brakmar for mandrake, Frigost, the Scale Archipelago and the Paper Kingdom for the three plants of level 200. One to two spots per map everywhere.
What our alchemist sessions measure
Across 125 bot sessions where plants were gathered, 174.0 hours in total. The widest range of the five professions: it all depends on the sequence, and on what it gathers along the way.
Throughput measures the whole session, travel, fights and bank trips included. It depends on the sequence played: a sequence harvesting two professions on the same maps splits its minute between both.
Manual or automated
An alchemist session is walking: one or two plants per map, then the next map. It is the profession where automation changes the nature of the session the most — the bot walks, you don't.
| By hand | With EZGather | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding the plants | Visually, map by map | Read from the data the game sends: number and exact position of the available plants |
| Travel between maps | Manual | The sequence, replayed map by map |
| Travel between areas | Zaaps and transports by hand | Automatic inter-area navigation |
| Full inventory | Manual bank trip | Automatic bank deposit, then the sequence resumes |
| Long session | Constant attention | Time scheduling, variable pauses |
How much does a Dofus alchemist bot earn with EZGather?
Preset to alchemist. The measured pace of our sessions, what the world can supply, and competition on the spots — pick your hours and your plants, the calculation follows.
Average prices recorded on one of the game's servers on September 10, 2026 and refreshed daily. They change from one server to another and from one day to the next: a ballpark, not a quote.
How it is calculated
- The bot's pace: between that of our weakest sessions and that of our best ones, set by the pessimistic / optimistic slider, corrected by your mix's density relative to ours (square root of the ratio, bounded between 0.5 and 1.5), and slowed by the pressure above 40%.
- What the world can supply: for each resource, the spots reachable in one hour, its spots × 6 regrowths or 120 maps × its density, whichever is smaller, × units per harvest, minus the pressure.
- We gather the smaller of the two, resource by resource. A rare resource caps fast: 24 hours on elm wood alone is 65 spots in the whole game, not your lumberjack pace.
- Regrowth is set at ten minutes and the route at one map every thirty seconds: orders of magnitude, not measurements.
How the EZGather bot handles alchemist
A harvesting bot only: no combat, no marketplace, no maging. On a gathering sequence:
- You create the sequence once — map by map on the world map, each map's resources displayed from the same reference data as the tables above. How do I create, edit or delete my own sequence?
- You filter on alchemist, and even on the plants: no nettle in the inventory when you gather ginseng. How do I configure a sequence (resources, disabled maps, options)?
- It knows where the resources are: the game sends the number and exact position of the available plants on the map, the bot goes straight to them — and moves to the next map as soon as the last one is picked. How does harvesting work on a map?
- It handles a full inventory: detection, trip to the bank, deposit, back to the exact point of the sequence. What does the bot do when the inventory is full?
- It does not modify the Dofus client: it reads what the game sends, then simulates clicks and keyboard like a player.Does EZGather modify game files or my computer?
- Several sequences make a circuit, with pauses and travel between areas: that is what you launch for a long session. How do I create a circuit?
- It does not run 24/7: time slots, pauses that vary. A deliberate choice — see below. What is scheduling and how does it work?

Before launching an alchemist bot: the ban risk
Automation is against Ankama's terms of use and exposes you to a sanction up to a permanent ban. We do not promise undetectability: what EZGather does is reduce the most obvious signals. A risk reduction, not a guarantee.
Frequently asked questions
How do you level alchemist quickly in Dofus?
By picking, at each tier, the highest plant your level allows: nettle from level 1, sage at 20, five-leaf clover at 40, wild mint at 60, freyesque orchid at 80, then a new plant every twenty levels up to 200. Your job level unlocks plants, it does not change how much you pick: what makes the difference is the density of the area and how busy it is — alchemist is the most scattered job in the game, hence the table and the areas above. EZGather chains those maps for you, on the route you choose; it does not level the job faster than the game allows, it does it without you.
At which level does each plant unlock?
Nettle at level 1, sage at 20, five-leaf clover at 40, wild mint at 60, freyesque orchid at 80, edelweiss at 100, pandouille seed at 120, ginseng at 140, belladonna at 160, mandrake at 180, snowdrop, salikrone and paper tulip at 200. The full table is above.
Do you need a tool to gather?
No. You gather by clicking the plant, with nothing equipped. Harvesting tools disappeared from the game with the professions rework; guides that list them describe Dofus Retro.
What is the best area to start leveling alchemist?
Amakna Forest for sage and Bouftou Corner for clover, both next to a zaap and at two to three spots per map. Nettle is everywhere: 483 maps, you gather it along the way.
Does EZGather work on Dofus Retro or Dofus Touch?
No. EZGather is built for Dofus Unity only: map, area and resource data are maintained for that version and that version alone.
Can the bot level several professions at once?
Yes. The filter accepts several professions at the same time — alchemist and lumberjack for instance — and on a mixed map, the resources of all active professions are harvested.
How many kamas does a gathering session bring?
It depends on the price of plants on your server, which moves every week, and on the sequence you play. This page's calculator starts from our measured throughput and the average prices of one of the game's servers; replace them with yours.
